We’ve all been there: we thought we found the perfect pair, only to realise that it’s unbearable to walk in after a few minutes. Could it be the sole, the angle of the heels, the silhouette? Tackling this disappointment (and the unnecessary spending that comes with it), we’ve developed heels you can rely on, day after day, season after season. What set Sargossa pairs apart from the rest? Here are the details we’ve implemented for cutting-edge comfort – and the details you should look out for when choosing your next shoes.
Reliable Outer
First impressions matter, and for good reason. While plastic ‘leather’ alternatives are becoming quite popular, most of them are still incomparable to the quality and comfort of real leather. Naturally softer, more antibacterial, durable and breathable, our dyed calf leather and suede uppers feel heavenly on the feet, while PU and faux leather options scruff easier, as well as cause sweat, odour and potential infections.
Perfectly Angled Heels
If the heels’ slope is too dramatic, it can displace pressure, throw off your centre of gravity and lead to discomfort in your feet, knees and lower back. Remedying this serious health concern, we’ve developed our heels with optimal heights and angles that distribute weight throughout the feet, ensuring that the ball of your feet isn’t stuck with all the pressure. This means that even the slimmest stilettos – such as Spider and Fairytale – are supportive and easy to walk in.
Soft, Supportive Insoles
Insoles can make or break a shoe. When lined in nylon, polyester or fitted with rigid insoles, even flats can feel hell to walk in. The solution? A specially integrated insole with graded memory foam, shock-absorbent cushioning and over 50 tiny air pocket to prevent moisture. For a bouncy spring and all-day comfort, never settle for less than expertly cushioned insoles.
Enduring Outsoles
After the insoles, we have to mention the soles, the design detail that’s often the first to show signs of wear. Spotting cheap, poorly-made soles is easy: just take a look at the thickness, material and strength of them. When bonded with thin rubber soles, shoes are bound to last a few months at best. In contrast, the pure leather insoles we use last longer, show less signs of damage and are an instant sign of timeless luxury.
Quality Craftsmanship
We believe that impeccable quality is what ties all these elements together. No scuffs, floppy soles, un-bonded stitching here – just ethically, well-made silhouettes that empower you to feel both beautiful and comfortable.
